- What is the Local-Deals Widget ?
- The Local-Deals Widget determines a user's location by using the user's I.P. address, and displays one or more deals in and around that location. When a user clicks thro' a deal and purchases it, you ( i.e. the blogger/website-owner ) earn affiliate revenues.
- Where do these awesome local deals come from ?
- These awesome deals, where the savings are usually 50% or more, are negotiated by services like Groupon, LivingSocial, BloomSpot & others. These deals run out fast. We make sure we have fresh and active deals from these services. When a user views a Local-Deals widget, only deals that are active at that point in time are displayed to the user.
- How does a blogger earn affiliate revenues ?
- When a user clicks on a deal in the Local-Deals widget and purchases a deal at one of these services ( LivingSocial, BloomSpot, ... ), they pay an affiliate bounty to Wowzio. Wowzio takes that affiliate bounty, and hands 75% of it back to the blogger whose blog refered the user.
- How exactly will payment be made ?
- Payment will be made via Paypal. At the end of every month, if you have earned some affiliate revenue, we will contact you. After verifying that you indeed are the blog owner, we will deposit your share into your Paypal account.
